The Library Ministry exists to provide books, CD’s, DVD’s, discipleship training kits and other media for study and personal enjoyment. We strive to provide materials that will encourage Christian growth, Bible study, education, witnessing and wholesome entertainment.


Library Guidelines

Your Church Library has many of the latest Books, CD’s, DVD’s, and puzzles. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and request that you help us by following the rules below:


1. Books may be checked out for two weeks, CD’s and DVD’s for one week. Extended periods of study are also available. You will receive an email when items are due. You may reply to the email for the item be renewed, come by the library, or renew online. Come by the Library to have your password setup for online renewal. There is a return drop box near the Library door for your convenience.

2. The Library Collection can be searched online by going to locustforkbaptist.com and go to the Library tab, then search the collection.



We now offer Bible Repair and can order books and other resource materials for you if you do not have access to the internet.

DONATION POLICY

We appreciate any donations whether monetary or media. Gifts may be made through the library or the office. (Put Library Donation on the check or envelope.)



All media must meet selection guidelines. We reserve the right to reject materials. Donations will be checked before being added to our collection. If we already have copies, we will pass items on to organizations such as Jesse’s Place and Jimmie Hale Mission. Donations will have a label “Donated By”, “In Honor Of” or “In Memory Of’” with the donor’s name to commemorate the donation, if requested.

Selection Guidelines

It is our intention to provide high quality media which will benefit our members, teachers, leaders and the community. Following are the guidelines:

 

1. Materials are subject to approval by the church library staff.

 

2. Media should reflect the Christian life, be morally sound, accurate in facts, scripture and doctrine.
